A public TestFlight beta is distributed. Scanner and inventory behavior are still being verified against the active build and may be unavailable. Receipt import, cross-device sync, merchant analytics, reporting, and external API access are planned concepts - not currently generally available features.

Fridge photo to grocery list
The current beta is designed around the groceries you enter. Snap a fridge photo, review a proposed list, confirm what you actually have, and get planning reminders based on reference use-by windows. Estimated use-by windows are not food-safety or edibility checks.
Where the photo goes: it is forwarded to a third-party vision provider that proposes item names. Under that provider’s current terms the input is not used to train its models but may be retained up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Xpired does not evaluate freshness, ripeness, or food safety, as described in the Privacy Policy.

A fridge or pantry photo can seed a proposed inventory; it does not automatically recognize every item
Names come back from a third-party vision provider and may be retained by it for a limited abuse-monitoring window
Review and confirm
You decide what goes on the list; any automated suggestion is a starting point, not a verified reading
Plan with estimates
Use-by windows are drawn from reference data for planning; always check labels and inspect food before use

Personal Inventory
Personal inventory is implemented, but release behavior is still under verification and may be unavailable in the active build. It does not automatically track every item or guarantee an expiration date.

Bulk receipt import is a product concept, not a current beta feature
