By downloading, installing, or using Xpired for Shoppers ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Xpired for Shoppers is a mobile application that provides:

• AI-Powered Produce Analysis: Analyze the freshness of fruits and vegetables using your device's camera
• Inventory Management: Track produce items and their expected expiration dates
• Smart Notifications: Receive reminders before items expire
• Dietary Matching: Filter results based on your dietary preferences

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Usage Limits

4.1 Scan Limitations

• Monthly limit: 1,000 scans per account
• Reset: First day of each calendar month (UTC)
• Hard block: Scanning disabled when limit is reached until reset

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Use automated systems or bots to perform scans
• Resell or redistribute access to the service
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization

5. AI Analysis Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI analysis is not a substitute for proper food safety inspection
• Results are estimates based on visual appearance only
• The App cannot detect all types of contamination, bacteria, or spoilage
• You are solely responsible for decisions about food consumption
• When in doubt, always discard questionable produce

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to:

• Software code and algorithms
• AI models and machine learning systems
• User interface designs
• Logos and branding
• Documentation and content

are owned by Expired Solutions, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. User Content

By uploading photos or other content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Process and analyze the content to provide the service
• Use anonymized data to improve our AI models
• Store content as necessary for service operation

You retain ownership of your original content and can delete it at any time.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice
• Change usage limits or pricing structures

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service or other users
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
